Saturday morning greeted me with the sound of rain—the day of the Djerriwarrh Festival Parade—and I thought, ‘It’s going to be a soggy one!’ The Homework Club was ready to participate, and I couldn’t help but wonder if my fantastic team would brave the weather with me.

Then it dawned on me… this is the Homework Club crew! Resilient, brave, and always willing to step outside their comfort zones. One by one, they arrived—first one, then two, then three—and soon, we were all gathered, ready to represent our Homework Club family with pride.
A special shout out to our newest member, Queen Victoria Magafas, for jumping in and helping out with the radio team today—what a blessing to have you with us!
Despite the rain, wind, and mud, our smiles, dancing, and waves didn’t fade as we marched proudly down Melton’s main street. I’m so proud of every student who showed up and showcased what the Homework Club stands for—teamwork, spirit, and heart.
