On 18 March 2026, a group of our Year 10 students took part in the Year 10 Uni Immersion Excursion at Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds Campus. This experience gave students a valuable glimpse into university life and the diverse pathways available to them beyond secondary school.
Throughout the day, students participated in a series of hands‑on workshops across a range of career areas, including:
- Sports Science
- Forensic Science
- Nursing & Midwifery
- Law & Politics
- Engineering
The excursion encouraged students to think about their future aspirations while experiencing real-world learning environments. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to discover new interests, ask questions, and imagine the possibilities ahead.
