Week 7 is Numeracy Week at Staughton College! There are a host of lunchtime activities and lots of prizes to give away.

Throughout the week there is a competition to guess the number of jellybeans in the jar. Be the winner and you get the jellybeans!

On Tuesday, Ms. Wan is running a Spaghetti and Marshmallows Skyscraper competition in D19. She has organised a set of tasty engineering challenges.

On Wednesday, we have the Amazing Race. Complete all the set challenges around the school to win a prize.

 

Thursday is Pie for Pi day. Come to D5 and recite ten decimal places of pi to receive a free party pie.

 

On Friday, Ms. Barden is running a Tessellations and Fractals session in A5 where you can learn how to create geometrical artwork, and Mr Kanzamar is running a Quick Maths competition in M6.

 

There are activities to suit everyone, so please come along!”
